<p><strong>Aromas Yaiza</strong> is found tucked away on Avenida Playa Blanca. Dinner guests can enjoy a comfortable, relaxed dining room with a basic, but well-appointed décor. It features international cuisine, although its appetizer menu is rather limited and doesn&#8217;t impress quite like the entrees. The fresh salmon salad and ham croquettes are the best options to get started with here.</p>

<p>One of <strong>Aromas Yaiza&#8217;s</strong> strengths as an innovative establishment in Lanzarote&#8217;s dining panorama is its extensive menu. There is a varied selection of appetizers, meats, fish, and desserts, between six and eight dishes, all of very good quality in relation to their prices (between € 25 and € 30 per person, drinks not included). The fish or steak is always a great selection. The fresh catches from the coast of the old ocean-side town of Playa Blanca continue to be as satisfying as always. The <em>pámpano</em> fish, the sea bass, or <em>lubina</em> and the salted cod, or <em>bacalao</em> are carefully prepared, perfecting the traditional Spanish method of cooking fish <em>a la espalda</em>, baked and then drizzled with garlic and oil. </p>

<p>The meats at <strong>Aromas Yaiza</strong> are always cooked to perfection, although there could be more variety in the sauces that accompany them. The sirloin tips with mustard sauce or mushrooms make for an enjoyable, lighter dish, and the sirloin steak with blue cheese is quite impressive. However, <em>true meat lovers</em> should opt for the delicious boneless pork chop. All of the entrees are full, satisfying dishes.</p>

<p>There is an ample selection of wines. Though its quality isn&#8217;t quite proportionate to its prices, it is still better than most of the restaurants in the area. To finish off this gastronomic experience, the pastries match the appetizers in quality. The dessert menu is limited, and includes a rather disappointing caramelized pineapple dish from El Hierro. It does, however, offer a few good choices, like the crunchy banana ravioli filled with chocolate, and the delicious chocolate soufflé. </p>
<p><strong>What to do before and after</strong>: Depending on whether you&#8217;ve opted for lunch or dinner, at mid-day you can go to the beach paradise at Playa Blanca called <strong>Papagayo</strong> or visit the natural pools at <strong>Los Charcones</strong>. In the evening, you can pair your dinner with a cultural outing to <strong><a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/music/cuatro-lunas/" target="_blank">Cuatro Lunas</a></strong>, chill out on the comfortable terrace at <strong><a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/nightlife/marea/" target="_blank">Marea</a></strong>, enjoy the smooth atmosphere of the <strong><a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/cafe-wine-bars/cafe-del-mar/" target="_blank">Café del Mar</a></strong>, or dance on the beach-side at <strong><a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/nightlife/jungles-bar/" target="_blank">Jungle´s</a></strong>.</p>

<p>Grato gourmet discovery in La Santa. The indoor restaurant and terrace are very organized. A Brazilian samba rhythms and soft jazz music in the spring of proportion. The furniture is modern and comfortable, and the revamped decor that adorns the grounds Amêndoa make a really nice space.</p>

<p>The kitchen is attached. Simple dishes, beautifully presented, which combines fresh ingredients daily. Starters, without being numerous, offer a rich variety and stand out for their originality. The crepes mushrooms, mild jam comebert peppers, asparagus pastry with bacon and cream sauce or fresh fish terrine with sauce of piquillo are proof of that. We encourage you to open your mouth the proper foie gras with confit tomato and successful goat cheese salad breaded with nuts and honey.</p>

<p>The offer is extended with stronger dishes. There are always some pasta dishes: black spaghetti sauce or macaroni and lobster and prawn curry with chicken and sauteed vegetables, fish, salmon supreme with mango sauce and yarrow surprising and very soft hake with spinach and piquillo sauce; the meats feature prominently on the menu: rack of lamb, sirloin with bacon and spinach in a sauce of mustard and always successful duck breast with apple confit and raspberry sauce. The modern presentation of dishes is not synonymous in this case of large plate-operation small. Rich enough, but that should be one of the fundamental premises also substantial.</p>

<p>In our view, the house does not succeed with the selection of wines. A bit quiet and a point above the binomial of quality and price. Quite the opposite occurs with desserts. Amêndoa works well in baking. The sweet tooth, especially chocolate connoisseurs should not miss trying the delicious chocolate volcano. Very good note also receive a delicious almond pastry with strawberries and vanilla ice cream flambé. Other aspects to note are the speed of cooking and outstanding service. In general, also highlights the most correct value for money.</p>

<p>The successful history of Lanzarote chef Luis Leon has continued, after almost two years in Lagomar in this charming enclave of Villas Alondra. The site maintains the online luxury of the rooms in this development. Located in a remote area of the same, Arena opens onto a terrace with pool suggestive, very comfortable Assn. The interior room but not too loose, noted for its charming atmosphere.</p>

<p>Sheltered by a robust natural stone walls, the decor is complemented by a modern light box, several elements of wood and a colorful display of wines. A small round this cozy living room fireplace. We have been at lunch and dinner. Although the place is exquisite in the two moments, we opted for the night, a tad more involved.</p>

<p>In the kitchen, Leon is confirmed as one of the best talent in the kitchen hutch. In his letter of hot and cold starters, we suggest you do not lose the opportunity to taste excellent scallops on a zucchini, orange sauce and slices of crispy bacon. Sublime. The curious lamb ravioli are also very accomplished. Warm salad of cod, however, not yet convinced its combination with the potato, tomato and piquillo peppers. Arena stands out for the good selection of their products. Thus, as an appetizer, we opt for a salmon tartar, carpaccio of fish, foie gras or smoked salmon. The trays also are very well presented, which facilitates the tasting.</p>

<p>It can be seen in higher quality entrees. Although not too many, the chef is uneasy with the softest duck breast or crispy pork solvent caramelized cookie. In line highlights the work with the spine or lamb chops. The house is right by combining the Iberian pork with four species, but sometimes, for our taste, is a tad extra pass through the fire. The proximity of the bay of Puerto del Carmen Varadero guarantees provision of excellent fresh fish. Cherne, ABAE, bocinegro &#8230; They are still on the menu the sea bass with apple, cod fillet, salmon in red wine and hake in green sauce.</p>

<p>In our view, the exquisite gastronomic line is not reflected in all its dimensions in the wine. To be a luxury restaurant in Lanzarote, we understand that might aspire to be more complete, while maintaining a proper balance money. The same applies to the pastry section, whose level is more than acceptable, but do not get that eminence of the starters and dishes.</p>
<p>To speak of excellence, we must rate the service at Arena. Highlight for its natural close and familiarity. A careful sympathy, desire for service and professionalism that make the guest feel as if you were at home. Furthermore, it is not something forced. You can see and appreciate his naturalness. Distinction. Another remarkable aspect is that Luis Leon has his feet on the ground. No, this is a restaurant that covered 60 euros. We dine well above the average for the restoration of Lanzarote, in a lavish infrastructure, between 30 and 35 euros per person.</p>

<p><strong>La Puntilla</strong> is located in an exclusive area of Lanzarote&#8217;s capital called El Charco de San Ginés. Day and night alike, the view of this remarkable Arrecife establishment is one of its main attractions. But when the weather is right, the terrace provides the ideal setting to sample the flavors of one of the best restaurants in Arrecife.</p>

<p>The décor is a mix between a modern-style tavern and an unpretentious restaurant, which does not necessarily reflect the quality of its cuisine. The main indoor seating area, which serves as the non-smoking section, is covered in a sea-blue color very traditional of the houses in el Charco. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and the menu, though not extensive, includes delicious and authentic foods. For example, you can try a local tuna dish called <em>ventresca de bonita</em>, seafood croquettes, grilled goat cheese, or the typical scrambled eggs with Spanish sausage. Some recommended dishes from the kitchen&#8217;s garden include the prawn salad with guacamole and avocado with Santoña anchovies.</p>

<p>The fish options depend on the tide in Lanzarote. One of the specialties at <strong>La Puntilla</strong> is the cod or <em>bacalao</em> which can be either cooked at a low temperature or breaded with toasted wheat flour or <em>gofio de trigo</em>. Also highly recommended are the <em>bomba</em> rice dishes, which is a rice variety typical of Spain, especially the black rice one. The meat selections are limited to veal cutlets, sirloin steak with <em>piquillo</em> peppers, and a beef filet with duck foie gras.</p>

<p>The wine list at <strong>La Puntilla</strong> is superb, though rather pricey in our opinion. As far as the dessert menu, this restaurant outdoes itself: caramelized pineapple with chocolate, mango and coconut, lime sorbet with Spanish sparkling wine <em>cava</em> and papaya, and <em>huevo mole</em>, which is a Spanish egg custard with palm honey and <em>gofio</em> ice cream. The wait staff is attentive and efficient.</p>
<p><strong>What to do before and after</strong>: This restaurant is located in an area very representative of the city of Arrecife, el Charco de San Ginés. The beach offers various places where you can have a drink just steps away from the ocean. The movie theater Multicines Atlántida is also located just a few meters from <strong>La Puntilla</strong> (<a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/cinema/" target="_blank">check movies</a>). Another option is to have an after-dinner drink or coffee at the nearby <a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/cultural-activities/international-museum-of-contemporary-art/" target="_blank">Castillo de San José</a>. If after dinner you prefer <a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/category/nightlife/" target="_blank">something more lively</a>, you can find it in downtown Arrecife, just a short walk away.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a beautiful manor house in the Teguise tradition, with exquisite furniture and a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. That&#8217;s what <strong>Ikarus</strong> is about. Two main rooms with few tables and what once was a typical Canarian patio as the main attraction to the restaurant (see picture on the right).  </p>

<p>Overall, the menu is somewhat limited, especially the appetizers. Salads, a good smoked salmon with potato and horseradish pancakes called <em>rosti</em>, a quite tasteless meat carpaccio with balsamic vinegar, vegetable strips and some creams and soups. The kitchen of <strong>Ikarus</strong> offers a better selection in terms of entrées with a careful selection of vegetarian dishes, such as the delicious tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms and parmesan cheese and the satisfying lasagna filled with spinaches and goat cheese. </p>
<p>Without a doubt, the meat is what distinguishes this restaurant from any other. The combination of duck breast with sesame seeds and balsamic vinegar along with potato and vegetable croquettes is very successful. Other delicious dishes are the beef tenderloin and the veal liver. But better yet is the exquisite lamb filet with herb crust. </p>

<p>The dishes also include the daily catch, fish freshly caught along the Lanzarote coast: fish with salt crust, which you need to reserve beforehand, and langoustine with saffron or Pernot liquor and basmati rice. The kitchen works fast, particularly if there are fewer than 6 people sitting at your table. For larger groups <strong>Ikarus</strong> is not the best option.</p>

Liquor parfait, a superb chocolate variation, some very intriguing and tasty figs dipped in red wine and ice cream and a supreme crepe with flambé apples, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. </p>
<p>At <strong>Ikarus</strong> the excellent ratio between quality and prices is surprising. You&#8217;ll always end up spending around € 25 per person. </p>
<p><strong>What to do before and after</strong>: A stroll in the historic center of La Villa. Coffee or tea at <a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/cafe-wine-bars/hesperides-bio-coffee-and-tea-shop/" target="_blank"><strong>Hespérides</strong></a> or at <strong><a href="http://ociolanzarote.com/en/cafe-wine-bars/cejas/" target="_blank">Café Cejas</a></strong>. <p>Salmarina&#8217;s kitchen, led by a classic island restoration, Honorio, is simple, but manages to highlight the flavors of premium products. The varied menu of starters is made with cheese, croquettes, Iberian, salmon and mushrooms scrambled with shrimp, salads, salmon toasts and bisque. We sea barnacles, nails and prawns. <p>Fish and seafood are the stars of the main dishes. The fresh pieces of coastline, old, grouper, red porgy, sea bass or bream, are prepared very simply. Our choice, grouper, was sublime. Very soft and tasty. Salmarina prepared grilled, operettas and, on request, stocks of fish. The prawns and grilled squid and mussels are steamed fish or other seafood options. The kitchen is also known for its good with rice paper. The seafood paella, rabbit and vegetables, and rice fideguá with lobster.</p>

<p>With regard to meat the letter is brief. The suggestions of the house focus on the kid and lamb, steak, pork chop, rabbit in the style of Lanzarote and sirloin grilled or in sauce. Certainly, the environment influences the choice. This folk music with chords, the sea breeze, the decor, the immensity of the southeast coast of Lanzarote make us opt for the paella and the grouper. Do not let us down.</p>
<p>Lanzarote&#8217;s wines feature prominently on the menu of wines, though the house has built a significant selection of wines from La Rioja and Ribera del Duero good value for money. The dessert menu is simple and limited fruit mousse, flan, cheesecake and ice cream. One of the most outstanding features is its attractive desktop Salmarina. Start dusk and Playa Quemada charges about colors.</p>

<p>The Emmax occupies a strategic nook to enjoy the best conditions of the sea views of Playa Honda. In a terrace not extensive but spatially well organized, they also enjoy the quiet nights of this coastal town east of Lanzarote. The decoration of this is based on a white pergola that welcomes the guests, the ocher of the building and a comfortable wooden tables and marble.</p>

<p>The restaurant&#8217;s interior has a nice decoration, playing with wood tones and strong reds and oranges combined, in its structure. Along with the long bar overlooking the whole room can see two main areas for development of the evening dining.</p>
<p>The Emmax is synonymous with pasta. Play with the tagliatelle, Campanelli, spaghetti, penne and other products of traditional Italian pasta, combined mainly with fish, seafood and steak tips. Like penne with black marlin and pineapple, tagliatelle with sirloin tips and mushrooms mustard sauce or spaghetti with prawns normal or black, mango and chili. The letter of pasta is updated every day so it usually always find some new combination.</p>

<p>As with the specialty of the house, often varies his bet Emmax starters. <p>The wine list is very classic. Betting on Lanzarote white wines, where virtually all local brands are accommodated in the letter, and the Galician white. As for reds, the letter is a bit more diversified, being correct as a whole and very good value for money.</p>
<p>Another very positive aspect O&#8217;Botafumeiro comes from its friendly service, at the same time, it is extremely fast. As for decor, as revealed by the image of this post, is variegated grazing kitsch, but the comfort of the furnishings and a relaxed atmosphere helps to overlook.</p>
