Hiking

Femés-Playa Quemada

In the direction of Playa Quemada, one of the most spectacular beach on the island. From the first moment we perceive the immense valley of Femés to cross during the day. In general, the paths to walk are tight, corresponding to very traditional herds of goats in the area. Accordingly, in a first stage, we must walk carefully along the banks of the trail and very zigzaceantes soil slopes, uneven and poor care.

The best way to learn about the natural area Timanfaya

This majestic route starts in the core of Timanfaya. Exactly, a few miles to the northeast of El Golfo. We got here in a van, along with our seven hiking companions, with the park rangers of the National Park. On the slopes of Montaña Encantada, we are given a brief description of the spectacular landscape that we are going to go through.

Today we´ll walk between Yé and Volcán de la Corona

The Corona Volcano (Yé) is one of the most enigmatic places in the north of Lanzarote.
A very pleasant trail to be undertaken with the whole family (low level, approximately an hour and a half). The starting point can be found between the old town of Yé and the church of this village in the north of Lanzarote, where we can comfortably park our vehicles. At this point, you will take a constant upward slope that allows you to enjoy spectacular panoramic views in every direction.

Femés-Papagayo

To the heart of the Natural Monument of Los Ajaches. This is a path that will allow us to cross one of the natural attractions of southern Lanzarote. Can not be compared with its neighbors and the Timanfaya Geria, but the route, visually monotonous in almost all the way, trapped by his strange charm. Although not difficult nor extremely hard the road, no recommendations addressed to children under 14 years.
