Costa Teguise
It is Lanzarote’s best planned tourist city in terms of urban development, resulting in wide avenues, vast public spaces and facilities, and a relaxed atmosphere. The city wraps around a three-mile stretch of beaches.
Playa Blanca
The small fishing town of Playa Blanca has been transformed into Lanzarote’s flagship tourist destination. These five miles of lush coast are home to the island’s most modern selection of lodging options, mostly four and five-star hotels.
Puerto del Carmen
Puerto del Carmen enjoys excellent weather, owed in large part to the fact that it is sheltered from the constant winds that sweep Lanzarote. The almost always clear skies make Playa del Carmen one of the best beach destinations in all of the Canary Islands.
Puerto Calero
Puerto Calero is a small tourist resort in Lanzarote with the best climatology on the island: clear skies, sheltered from the winds and sheltered behind the shocking picture of Los Ajaches, southeast of the island, its marina brings excellent conditions for your entertainment.

Archipelago Chinijo, just over one nautical mile northwest of Lanzarote, is a protected natural area, rich in marine biodiversity, comprising the islands of La Graciosa, Montaña Clara, Alegranza, Roque del Este y Roque del Oeste.
Lanzarote and Villages
Lanzarote
Lanzarote was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1993. This Atlantic Ocean island is located some 86 miles [140 km] off the northwest coast of the African continent. The island’s climate is defined as subtropical and dry or semi-desertic. Thanks to the moderating effect of the Atlantic, temperatures are quite moderate.
Arrecife
The main attraction of the city is the coastline that connects to its historical heritage with its best values, the Castillo de San Gabriel (1742) formed by the fortress and the mythical figure of El Puente de las Bolas.
Haría
From the valley of the thousand palms overlooking an extraordinary example of Canarian architecture. The village of Haria is the capital of the municipality most hidden and least populated of the north of the island.
Teguise
La Villa de Teguise is one of the few urban areas of the island that retain its architectural structure. Streets cobbled gives a rustic look that improves your leisurely experience.
San Bartolomé
San Bartolome is located in the centre of the island. The rural village of El Islote, located near Timanfaya lava flows, is one of the most attractive areas near the work of Cesar Manrique, Monumento al Campesino.
Yaiza
Much of the territory of Yaiza is protected by the excellence of the Natural Monument of Los Ajaches and Timanfaya National Park. Other highlights are Las Salinas de Janubio, the fishing village of El Golfo and La Geria (known as wine route).
Tinajo
Thanks to the agricultural land and livestock, the villages have a rustic charm carved over the centuries. It rugged terrain due to the effects of volcanic eruptions in 1730 in the nearby of the Montañas del Fuego.
