Playa Bastián is one of the largest bathing beaches of Costa Teguise.
It has easy access and due to its location it is one of the most wind sheltered beaches within this tourist area.
Playa Bastián is equipped and surrounded with countless amenities: sunbed rental, showers, parking, restaurants etc.
Furthermore it appeals a lot to sporting athletes because of its seafront promenade and its recreational area.
This beach has a length of 375 metres and a generous width of approximately 20 metres.
Therefore there is plenty of space for children to play.
The sand here is very different from that of the beaches in Lanzarote and consists of a mixture of white sand and rich gravel.
One of the main deficits of Playa Bastián comes from its rough shores.
Due to the amount of natural stones that can be found in this area it makes it difficult to enter the sea from the beach when low tide.
With high tide normally you don’t have any problems.
However, it might be a good idea to wear some bathing shoes in order to protect your feet.
This beach is set in one of the best coastal areas in Costa Teguise as well as the beach El Ancla which is situated nearby.
