Teguise starts the procedure of granting new licenses for 148 free stands for the market in La Villa, Teguise and the Agrarian and Handcraft markets in Costa Teguise.
From today on, Monday 24th of July, the Oficial Boletín of Las Palmas published the public announcement and the regulatory requieremnts of the street selling for the municipality.
In total 148 licences will be granted for these three markets: 74 for the market in La Villa, Teguise, 37 for the agrarian market and 37 for the handcraft market, both in Costa Teguise.
Everyone who is interested should present his request preferable in the Registro General located in the office of the municipal market in calle José Betancort, number 2 in La Villa of Teguise. Opening hours are from 8:00 to 14:00.
The limit to present the request is of 15 days counting from the publishing date of the public announcement in the Boletín of Las Palmas.
Basically evaluated will be the effective performance, professionality and demonstrated experiences in the business that is going to be developed.
Based on the established in the article 26 of the regulatory ordinance, the permission for selling on the market will be for a period of 8 years and can be renewed for another 8 years, of course only if the established requirements are met, as well as the state and municipal regulations and the municipal ordinances.
