During the little over two hours of kicking you get different perspectives of two of the most spectacular of Lanzarote, which merge into one in this route from Geria: Timanfaya and the Gering. The road will begin in Tegoyo, village in the municipality of Tias that lies between Conil and The Asomada. We took the road that heads south to La Gering, and after about 500 meters for asphalt, the trail diverts Caldera Road G aida (signposted).
Among small rural buildings we walk into this beautiful spot Gaida. The altitude of the area allows us to contemplate the elegant figure of the Timanfaya Geria with the fund. It is spectacular explosion of colors that are mixed, melting into a nondescript range of red, ocher, black, green … They live well, so uniquely, since the eruptions of 1736.
The mantle of black rofe has been enriched by the hand of man. The Ins and Outs of natural stone hidden in the grape vineyards so characteristic of the Geria up another aspect to view. From the top of Gaida, the playful disposition of these agricultural harvests highlighted in our care.
Heading south, Tinasoria Mountain Road (500 meters), continued to enjoy very similar views. It is noteworthy that seem monotonous landscape, it offers notable distinctions according to the position where we are. In addition, small details that are incorporated into the inventory of sensations to see these wonders of nature.
With the rains of the 2008/09 season, Mountain Tinasoria colouristic adds to the repertoire of the route. The lush vegetation that hosts its rocky structure gives us the necessary fresh breath and hydrate. Strengthened, we recommend you take advantage of the summit. The peaceful contemplation of ground covered and the one that lies ahead is a great feeling.
Falling Mountain Tinasoria must be dealt with calmly. Remember that we stand a protected natural area and that largely depends on the proper use of it to continue to maintain that status. There are small trails marked, always surrounded by rofe, for which we can travel with ease.
Is a strip with small and not so small buildings: wineries, restaurants and large homes. The last houses that match The Chupadero and Bodegas La Geria We determine the point of continuity of the road, at sea level in this case. The path in this case becomes the spot to witness the roots of grape that bathe the entire surface of the Gering. Uga now and we have a short walk of a quarter hour.
