Lanzarote is a dry and arid island with little rainfall, which means that there is only one natural grass field, in Club La Santa. Nevertheless, it is possible to play football on any one of the increasing number of artificial turf fields available. Although these fields are inundated with football clubs, there is a small seasonal opening for those not affiliated with any registered team. In Arrecife, and in every one of the main localities in Lanzarote, there is a quality football field. Nevertheless, in our opinion, both the availability hours and the reservation system need to be improved as they are too limited and very insufficient.
