Note: There is no space reserved for non-smokers.
El Bocadito specializes in typical Spanish tapas. Meatballs, croquettes, ribs, stew, meat and goat cheese, or from the grill: squid tentacles called puntillas de calamar or grilled cuttlefish called choquitos a la plancha. The dishes are renewed every day at this gastronomic meeting place of Costa Teguise. The décor of the place is finished with modern touches. The spaces are well organized and the place is comfortable and pleasant.
Some other varieties of appetizers are added to the traditional yummy tapas: .Boards of cold cuts and sausages, cheeses and Iberian ham. Varied scrambled eggs with prawns and salmon. Smoked salmon and cod. We highly recommend the salmon mille-feuille canapés with avocado cream and the stir fried chicken with leeks and soy sauce.
The tapas can be accompanied by a main dish, like Iberian pork filet, game and fowl, filet with foie sauce or a leg or shoulder of lamb. For a place for snacks, the wine list is rather large, with a variety of whites and reds. The service is nice and family like; besides, it is very quick when it comes to serving the dishes. El Bocadito has an outside terrace that is not very pleasant because of the closeness of traffic on one of the main streets of Costa Teguise.
What to do before and after: El Bocadito is in the middle of this dynamic tourist center, very near the night life, jazz clubs and other entertainment opportunities.
