La Geria (wine route)

The Geria is located in the southwest of the island, in the municipality of Yaiza. Runs along the eastside of the Timanfaya National Park. The union of these two significant areas constitute one of the most impressive landscape pictures of Canaries. It is a nature reserve which covers an area of 5255.5 hectares. It is a singular and intoxicating landscape of the vast expanse of volcanic ash from the eruption of Timanfaya between 1730-1736, that bathe this whole scenario.

South Route

The sightseeing tour through the south of Lanzarote is known worldwide as the route of the volcanoes. The terminology reflects the grandeur of Timanfaya (southwest), one of the most visited Spanish National Parks. The south cone of Lanzarote (in the eastside) adds Los Ajaches to the natural grandiosity of Timanfaya . On the other hand, its most south geographical point is a warranty for sun and beach.

North Route

A tour around the north of Lanzarote holds a wealth of scenic postcards. Island of contrasts by itself, this variety of perspectives increases in this geographical area. It is the location with more vegetation, especially in the charming villages in the village of Haria, such as Máguez, Guinate or Tabayesco. Its rugged terrain offers a disturbing picture from the Mirador of Yé, Guinate and the ravine of Tenegüime. On the other hand, northern Lanzarote hosts major art interventions nature of the brilliant artist César Manrique.

Central Route

The geographical centre of Lanzarote is known for its cultural surroundings. Within this area its inhabitants and their traditional economic activities are based upon agriculture and fishing however, we must also pay tribute to Cesar Manrique for his peculiar yet popular Monumento al Campesino.
