One of the largest bathing beaches of Costa Teguise. It has easy access and due to its location makes it one of the most wind sheltered beaches within this tourist area. Bastián is equipped and surrounded with countless amenities: deck chairs, showers, parking, bins, restaurants etc. but above all appeals to sporting athletes because of its seafront promenade and its recreational area. Along the beach you will come across small natural stone coves that allow space for barbecues. A perfect Sunday would be to combine a seaside picnic with a relaxing swim in a gentle tide, an opportunity that could not be missed.

This beach has a length of 350 metres and a generous width of approximately 20 metres; therefore there is plenty of space for children to play. The sand here is very different from that of the beaches in Lanzarote and consists of a mixture of white sand and rich gravel. One of the main deficits of Bastián comes from its rough shores and due to the amount of natural stones that can be found in this area it makes it difficult to enter the sea from the beach. This situation worsens during periods of low tide. It is therefore recommended that you enter the sea with appropriate bathing shoes. Other than this the beach is set in one of the best coastal areas in Costa Teguise as is El Ancla that is situated nearby.

What to do before and after:
From the beach you can spot the promenade of Bastián. Here you have the option to visit Villa Toledo where you can enjoy something off the menu on its superb terrace. As you are already in the heart of Costa Teguise why not enjoy some tapas at La Repikada or El Bocadito.
