Note: There is no space reserved for non-smokers.
Los Conejeros is one of the most visited places for tapas in Arrecife. The place has an Antique décor, with somewhat shabby furniture, and it incorporates a multitude of items from the Lanzarote agricultural world in the main room. It is advisable to reserve a table at this restaurant, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
The menu of this restaurant is limited, but through their use of traditional products they have achieved some dishes that are graceful and reasonably priced. The carajacasa tyical Canary islands liver dish and the pork are prepared the way they should. The simple and well prepared fried fish fingers, churros de pescado and the potato salad, revolcón de papa bonita are perhaps their best dishes. The lapas, limpets, the grilled octopus and the Saharian squid are another specialty of the house. Depending on the tide, Los Conejeros offers more tapas with their sierra fish fillets and fresh tuna. In short, simple cooking, with clear and homely flavors.
The wine list is discreet, although it has a good quality-price ratio. The house offers some homemade dessert every day. The flan and brazo de chocolate are the most popular. After the kitchen is closed at Los Conejeros, the space becomes a good place to have a drink, surrounded by a good atmosphere, although it is a little noisy.
When it is completely full, the service is slow, and in many cases a greater attention to the guests is missed. What to do before and after: A few steps away from Los Conejeros is the main nightlife of Arrecife. Also very close, for before or after the tapas, the night view of the capital of Lanzarote is very pleasant from the roof of Arrecife.
