Lanzarote International Film Festival 2025 (From May 15 to May 24)
The Lanzarote International Film Festival 2025 celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a renewed, varied and expanded program.
The film festival will take place from May 15 to 24 in various venues on the island, although, as every year, there will be activities before and after these dates.
It should be noted that the Lanzarote International Film Festival is one of the qualifying festivals for the Goya Awards.
The winners of the National Fiction Short Film and Documentary Short Film categories will win direct entry to the awards granted by the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In this edition, short films may compete in the following categories: National Fiction Shorts, International Fiction Shorts, Animation Shorts, Documentary Shorts, Canary Islands Shorts and Children’s Shorts (productions aimed at audiences between 3 and 17 years of age).

7:30 p.m.: Beginning of the 7th Roberto Pérez Toledo Express Short Film Contest at the CIC El Almacén.
Wednesday, May 14th
19:00 h.: 17th Seniors Undeterred at the TÃas Theater.
Thursday, May 15
19:30 pm: Screening of the feature film La Carga del Diablo (The Devil’s Burden) at the CIC El Almacén.
Friday, May 16th
19:30 pm: Screening of the feature film Un paseo por el Borne at the CIC El Almacén.
Saturday, May 17th
19:30 pm: Screening of the feature film Noah at the CIC El Almacén.
Sunday, May 18
17:00 hours: Screening and Gala Awards Ceremony of the School Short Films at Multicines Atlántida.
19:30 pm: Screening and award ceremony of the 7th Roberto Pérez Toledo Express Short Film Contest at Multicines Atlántida.

Announcement of the winners of the 4th Cinema Window Dressing Contest.
Wednesday, May 21
Announcement of the winners of the public exhibition in the streets of Arrecife during the month of May.
Friday, May 23rd
19:30 hours: Canarian Short Films at the CIC El Almacén.
Saturday, May 24th
11:00 a.m.: Talk with the jury at CIC El Almacén.
20:00 hours: Closing Gala at the VÃctor Fernández Gópar ‘El Salinero’ Theater.
