Fiestas del Pilar – El Cuchillo (Tinajo) 2025 take place around 12 October, with the main day dedicated to the Mass and street procession of Our Lady of the Pillar through the village.

• Dates: Around 12 October (Feast of Our Lady of the Pillar).
• Location: El Cuchillo, municipality of Tinajo. Key sites near the Ermita del Pilar (village centre).

History & tradition

The devotion to the Virgin of the Pillar is deeply rooted in Tinajo. On 12 October the community gathers for the Mass and procession, accompanied by local music and popular participation.

Confirmed activities for 2025 (so far)

• Tue 23/09 — Draw for the Envite 4×4 card tournament and Bola (men’s & women’s), which start Wed 24/09 (municipal notice).
• 1v1 Football Tournament “Duelo El Cuchillo” — Registration open; official rules and contact phone published by the Town Hall.

More activities (traditional games, kids’ events, live music, etc.) will be announced with the 2025 booklet. As reference, the 2024 PDF featured a full day-by-day schedule.

• Arrive early on the main days (Mass/procession and evening concerts).
• Parking: follow signage and any temporary closures.
• Be respectful: this is a village festival; keep access points clear.
