Rancho Texas, children looking at crocodiles, Lanzarote, Children's Areas

Another one of the seductions of Rancho Texas Park comes from a great central lake where Nile crocodiles delight the younger ones. The children’s reaction to sea animals is interesting. In general, they get along very well with birds, livestock animals and any other critters, but the ones that move in water seem to be like their cartoon heroes.

Mother and daughter observing the sea lions of the Rancho Texas, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Children's Areas

“Crocodile, crocodile”, the children in the picture call out, waiting in vain for an answer, although some of them thought they heard an answer. Very near the impressive crocodiles we see the amenable sea lions diving in. Every day at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.there is a show directed by specialists. It is worthwhile to be there at these times. Other shows at Rancho Texas Park include: the bird show (11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.) and the parrot show (11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.). Next to this section is the farm with rabbits, donkeys, goats, small pigs and hens.
