MAP OF LOCATION:

The natural area of La Geria is recognized as one of the most spectacular spaces in Lanzarote. Among the natural stone barriers and its thousands of acres of grapevines emerges this charming and gorgeous place, El Chupadero, an estate-winery, specialized in wines and tapas. Its location is strategic for a day of contemplative leisure. If La Geria by itself is enough to capture our gaze for hours, the contrast of the black loose volcanic rock and the green grapevines with the reddish and ochre hills of the nearby Montañas del Fuego seems to interrupt the spinning of Earth. It’s easy to lose oneself in the scenery, listening to the peaceful chords that come from the musical offering; the selection of jazz is a complete success.

The reformed old manor that houses the salons for drinks, wines and tapas of El Chupadero offers different meeting formulas to its potential visitors. On the quiet outdoor terrace there are different benches and more intimate tables. Inside, very cool, by the way, you’ll find rooms where you can get something to eat and ample couches where you can meet for coffee or digestifs.

The place has an extensive liquor list, as well as coffees and infusions. It has a decent white wine of its own production and the main wine offer of the island. In spite of being short, the tapas menu is quite varied: crepes, smoked tuna and anchovies, the traditional potatoes with mojo sauce and Serrano ham. Also, a lunch menu is prepared every day.
