The Marea bar offers an enticing night out. It has an atmosphere that is half Hawaian, half Miami Beach, and has extremely comfortable modern furniture, and varied music that draws mainly from the world of pop and has a relaxed disco. It has a comprehensive menu of liquor and aperitifs, although the drinks are a little expensive (the mixed drinks range between € 5 and € 6). There is also a variety of beer, although they are rather expensive, too (between € 3 and € 3.50).

Terraza Marea, la noche en Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

The heart of Marea is its large terrace that faces the beach of Playa Blanca, and its magnificent views of the neighboring island of Fuerteventura. The sommiers and hammocks offer somewhere for visitors to relax and enjoy their Manhattan or beer over light conversation. The music played, in this sense, is perfect. The rest of the space on the terrace is an inside dance floor with a minimalist style, where the color white prevails, and where music adapts to even the most avid dancers.

Terraza Marea, la noche en Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

The service in Marea is rather professional and quick and the exquisite cocktails are skillfully prepared. The atmosphere is especially pleasant and peaceful due to the type of tourists who visit, generally between 35 and 45 years old. The staff mainly focuses on the terrace and leaves the dance floor open to late at night. Getting to La Mulata mall is the most desirable thing if you want to enjoy a night at Marea. It is right on the sea, a few kilometers from the Pechiguera lighthouse, but to get there you have to go down the road that runs along the beach of Playa Blanca. The bar closes at 3:30 a.m., and allows you to combine the night with some time in a more lively atmosphere at Jungle’s Bar.
