Location: Apartments with beautiful sea views in the town of  Playa Quemada  ( in the southeast of Lanzarote)

This relaxing village enjoys excellent weather. It is protected by “Los Ajaches”, a large extension of dry mountains, from the blustery “alisios” winds, typical of Lanzarote.
This relaxing fishing village is a picture postcard. It faces the atlantic ocean and has spectacular views of the bay, full of little boats, and the island of Fuerteventura. If you wish to relax and enjoy the suns rays by day you will equally enjoy the many stars at night and both will elevate you to a new level of calm and tranquility. There is a pebble beach directly accessed from the apartments  and the sandy beach of “La Arena”, but is some minutes walk away. 

 
In the middle of some messy town planning you’ll find the Pura Vida apartments; they are a good example of the typical architecture of Lanzarote and are divided into 7 little apartments all sea facing. The apartments of Pura Vida are situated perfectly, offering the chance to fully appreciate the silence of the town. You’ll not miss the tv, though you can keep in touch with the world thanks to free Internet access. The apartments are equipped with games, binoculars and simple diving equipment. There is also a barbecue area where you can enjoy dining.
 
We offer six one bedroom apartments and one double room apartment with two separate bathrooms. Those with one bedroom measure aproximately 36m2 with a kitchen-dining room, a bathroom and a double bed or two separated beds. We provide you with cots and extra beds for children. The double room apartment mesures aproximately 48 m2.
 
 

The terrace
 
All the apartments have a common terrace. In this nice area you can enjoy the beautiful view towards to the sea and village, having your breakfast at dawn or enjoying your dinner at sunset. The different kind of wooden furniture provided such as deckchairs, benches, chairs and tables offer every comfort. There’s also a long wooden pergola which provides you with some shade and a big beautiful shower to cool oneself down.

The accommodation is perfect for those who prefer to escape from the touristic mass, and enjoy a different stay on the island. If you wish to enjoy the local nightlife you will find pubs and restaurants in Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero just 10 minutes drive by car. 
During the day you could also enjoy a walk around the volcanoes of Timanfaya in La Geria. 
 
There are different sandy coloured beaches around the island but also many “calas” rocky swimming areas near Playa Quemada. You will find Barranco del Quiquere, a nudist swimming area.
 
Returning to the apartments after a long day of visiting the tourist areas, such as the Cesar Manrique foundation, The Tanit Museum in San Bartolome and other unique places of interest including the must see wine cellars of La Geria, you could enjoy the wonderful sunset from the terrace of Pura Vida. The calm horizon and the falling night invite you to stay outside all night long. You´ll be able to take your dinner in the village of Playa Quemada. Fresh fish at Salmarina.
