FULL DESCRIPTION OF THE EXCURSION TO THE TEGUISE AND LA GRACIOSA MARKET

The excursion begins at meeting points located in the main tourist areas (8:00 a.m. in Playa Blanca, 8:55 a.m. in Puerto Calero, 9:00 a.m. in Puerto del Carmen, 9:30 a.m. in Arrecife, and 9:40 a.m. in Costa Teguise).

There, a comfortable, air-conditioned bus will pick you up to begin your excursion.

A tour to discover the Teguise Market and the eighth Canary Island, La Graciosa.

Visit to the Teguise Market

The La Villa de Teguise Market is probably the best traditional market in the Canary Islands.

Thanks to this excursion, you’ll have two hours to enjoy the charm of La Villa, the island’s former capital, and its spectacular and diverse market.

Teguise market

The market takes place every Sunday morning and transforms the silence and tranquility of Teguise’s streets into the hustle and bustle of a multitude of stalls and artisans.

You can buy all kinds of handicrafts, ceramics, basketry, leather goods, natural and traditional products, cheeses, wines, and products made with cactus and aloe.

Teguise market

Many artists also sell their works here.

In short, the Teguise Market is an event that no visitor should miss.

Transfer to Órzola

After visiting the market, the bus will take you to Órzola, the northernmost point of the island.

There you will board the ferry that connects Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

The boat ride takes just over 20 minutes and offers stunning panoramic views of Lanzarote’s northern coast.

Excursion to La Graciosa

The Graciosa

Once in La Graciosa, a guide will show you some of Caleta del Sebo’s secrets, such as the old church and the streets of the fishing village.

At 2:00 PM, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of cava while lunch is served (salad, paella, fruit, soft drinks, wine, beer, and water)—all included!

After lunch, you’ll enjoy an hour and a half of free time on the island to explore on your own.

Caleta del Sebo beach

Enough time to stroll through the quiet village of Caleta del Sebo and admire its peaceful unpaved streets, rent a bike, or simply enjoy the idyllic beaches.

This island is for special, sensitive travelers who know how to enjoy nature, silence, beauty, and, of course, sunbathing on its secluded beaches.

La Graciosa dock

La Graciosa is probably one of the few places in Europe where there are still no paved roads.

It is the most unknown and serene corner of the Canary Islands.
