Fariones Sports Center is one of the most important meeting places in Lanzarote for racquet sports lovers. The four tennis courts, four paddle tennis courts, the frontenis court and the squash rectangle provide the greatest specialization in racquet leisure on the island. It is located near the old town of La Tiñosa, its geographical location and the arrangement of its courts avoid the uncomfortable wind that is traditionally a nuisance in Lanzarote for the practice of tennis.

Sports life

The atmosphere in the facilities is purely sports like. The number of users has increased in recent years. In the central area of the sport center there is an area to socialize, used mainly by parents of swimming or tennis students and by those who, once they have completed their exercise, comment on their games over a snack. The dressing rooms are in excellent shape; they are very spacious and hygienic, with the possibility of using lockers. It is difficult to find any problems with the facilities; however, its main limitation is the swimming pool, the two 76 foot [23.30 meters] lanes being insufficient for swimming.
