The Fiestas de Los Remedios 2025 fill the historic center of Yaiza with tradition, sports and music, with the Big Day on September 8. Below is the official full program (opening, pilgrimage, concerts, tournaments and religious acts), along with practical tips and official links.

Dates and location

The heart of the celebrations is the village of Yaiza. The calendar runs from August 26 to September 9, 2025, featuring the pilgrimage, open-air dances, sports and liturgical acts. Program confirmed by the Town Hall (see official source at the end).

Tuesday, August 26

• 20:00 — Draw and start of the Envite Championship.

Wednesday, August 27

• 19:00 — 3RFEF Football Tournament Los Remedios.
• 20:00 — Draw and start of the Ronda Championship.

Thursday, August 28

• 20:00 — Draw and start of the Chinchón Championship.

Friday, August 29

• 20:00 — Opening speech by Juana and Enrique González (González Hernández family).
• 21:00 — Rubicón Festival with guest group Los Dóniz (Tenerife). Followed by an open-air dance with Nueva Stela and Lanzarote Swing.

Saturday, August 30

• 11:00 — Children’s party with bouncy castles, playroom and foam party (Plaza de Los Remedios).
• 18:00 — Traditional Pilgrimage from the football field; prize for the best decorated cart.
• 18:00 — Rosary.
• 19:00 — Mass and offering to Our Lady of Los Remedios.
• Evening — Folk groups: Gurfines Son del Puerto, Son del Norte, Pal’ Porrón and Sondemar.

Sunday, August 31

• 11:00 — Draw and start of the Mixed Wooden Bola Championship.
• 13:00 — Children’s water party and inflatables (Plaza de Los Remedios).
• 17:00 — Couples gymkhana (12+ years) in the square.
• 19:30 — Sacred Music Gathering with Yaiza’s Vocal Ensemble and sacred music trio (church).
• 20:00 — Draw and start of the Envite 2-on-2.
• 20:30 — Performance by Carmen Rosa and Chano; then Orquesta Los Jarvac (Plaza de Los Remedios).

Monday, September 1

• 18:00 — Drawing contest (Casa de la Cultura).
• 19:00 — Dessert contest (entries 30 min earlier) — Casa de la Cultura.
• 20:00 — Veterans Football Tournament Los Remedios 2025 (C.D. Unión Sur Yaiza, F.C. Conil and Sporting Tías).
• 20:00 — Theatre group from Mácher (Casa de la Cultura) and afterwards Trío Alegranza by the food stalls.

Tuesday, September 2

• 18:00 — Family film screening with popcorn (Casa de la Cultura).
• 18:30 — Lapas percussion workshop (12+ years; places on a first-come basis) — Casa de la Cultura.
• 21:00 — Play Back “A full life, not someone else’s” by Yaiza’s seniors (Plaza de Los Remedios).

• 18:00 — Family storytelling with Vicky Dos Santos (Casa de la Cultura).

• 18:00 — Family percussion workshop (Plaza de Los Remedios).
• 18:30 — Bag-making workshop for adults (Casa de la Cultura; places on a first-come basis).
• 19:00 — “Speaking in Verse” gathering with Jaime Quesada and Manuel Concepción (Casa de la Cultura).

• 17:00 — 3×3 Basketball Tournament (U12 & U10) Ntra. Sra. de Los Remedios (Plaza de la Alameda).
• 19:00 — Book presentation “Alongado al brocal” by Jaime Quesada (Casa de la Cultura).

• 18:30 — Presa Canario dog breed lecture.
• 21:00 — Dance night with Ballet Dance Pop, Dance Pop Junior and Daniel de la Rosa Dance School. Afterwards, open-air dance with Grupo Kalibre, DJ Javi Fajardo and Rika Banda.

Sunday, September 7

• 10:30 — Presa Canario dog show.
• 13:00 — Classic car exhibition.
• 13:00 — Children’s playroom (Casa de la Cultura).
• 13:00 — Beer Festival with Bourbon, Salvapantallas, Kilombo Improvisado and Los Aseres (Plaza de Los Remedios).

Monday, September 8 — BIG DAY OF YAIZA

• 11:00 — Children’s games and workshops.
• 19:00 — Solemn Mass with Yaiza’s Vocal Ensemble and afterwards the Procession in honor of Our Lady of Los Remedios, accompanied by Yaiza’s Municipal Band.
• 21:30 — Concert by COTI and his band (greatest hits). Closing with fireworks.

Tuesday, September 9

• 20:00 — Community barbecue with live music by Meneo (Plaza de Los Remedios).
