Sonidos Líquidos 2026: Dates, Lineup and Belingueos

Sonidos Líquidos 2026 hits its peak. The 16th edition of the festival that blends music, wine and volcanic landscape has sold out its main event at La Geria on Friday, June 6, announced a full lineup of ten national and international acts, and is preparing an unprecedented season closer: a concert on La Graciosa on June 28. Of the six Belingueos that make up this edition, four have already filled heritage venues from San Bartolomé to Gran Canaria. The two biggest are still to come.

The 2026 season: four Belingueos completed

The Belingueos are the festival’s roaming heartbeat — intimate concerts pairing live music with local gastronomy and D.O. Lanzarote wines in venues that deserve a visit on their own. This season launched on March 22 at the Casa Museo del Campesino (San Bartolomé), timed to the first day of spring. Since then, the circuit has moved through Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on April 25 — the first stop outside Lanzarote this cycle — Casa Ajei (San Bartolomé) on April 26 with Tiburona, and Bodega El Grifo on May 17 with Juventude, one of the oldest wineries in the Canary Islands turned open-air stage.

Two dates remain. And they’re the big ones.

Sonidos Líquidos 2026: full lineup at La Geria

On Friday, June 6, Bodega La Geria hosts over ten hours of live music with a lineup that mixes indie, rock, electronic, rumba and emerging Canarian talent. Tickets are sold out — more than 70% of the audience is traveling from outside the island.

Ginebras bring singalong pop with choruses that stick for weeks. Sanguijuelas del Guadiana, the Extremaduran trio fusing rock, rumba and electronic textures, promise one of the most intense live sets of the night. The Molotovs, the British guitar-rock duo, arrive with their album Wasted On Youth. Ángel Stanich adds his lyrical universe somewhere between folk and rock. Nortec: Bostich + Fussible, the Mexican collective that pioneered electronic-border fusion, celebrate their 25th anniversary on the volcano.

Go Cactus, Dara Ortega and La 126 round out the sonic range. Good Franco, winners of the Sonora 2026 festival in Gran Canaria, represent the push for emerging Canarian talent — a commitment Sonidos Líquidos has kept up edition after edition.

Season closing on La Graciosa

The headline addition for 2026 is a concert on June 28 on La Graciosa, the eighth Canary Island. For the first time, Sonidos Líquidos takes its format to this territory, in partnership with the Fundación Líneas Romero and the UNESCO Global Geopark of Lanzarote and Chinijo Archipelago, coinciding with the European Geoparks Week. Los Blody, also winners of Sonora 2026, are confirmed. The organization will publish further details soon at sonidosliquidos.com.

A festival with three sustainability stars

Sonidos Líquidos is not just about music. Since its founding in 2011, the festival has made sustainability a core part of its identity. In 2026, it renews its third A Greener Future star, one of the most demanding international certifications for environmental event management. It is also the only festival in the Canary Islands to hold the EFFE label (Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe), awarded by the European Festivals Association to outstanding cultural events.

This year, Sonidos Líquidos was a finalist at the A Greener Future Awards in London for Community Contribution and Best Sustainability Communication, and at the Iberian Festival Awards for Contribution to Equality. On an island designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, that commitment is not a nice extra — it is the reason a festival like this works where others could not.
