Vicente Vallés in Lanzarote: Book Presentation September 26
One of the best-known faces on Spanish television is swapping the studio for the Charco de San Ginés. Vicente Vallés, director and anchor of Antena 3’s evening news, presents his novel “La caza del ejecutor” on Saturday, September 26 at 12:00 pm in the Mirador hall of Islote de Fermina, in Arrecife. Entry is free, and the journalist will sign copies after the event.

“La caza del ejecutor” (Espasa, 2025) is a spy thriller that opens with the defection of Russia’s top foreign-intelligence chief and follows a Spanish CNI agent and a CIA veteran on a chase through London, Berlin, New York, and Washington. It is Vallés’s second novel after “Operación Kazán,” winner of the Premio Primavera de Novela in 2022, and confirms the literary side of a journalist who has covered every US presidential election since 1992.
Islote de Fermina grows as a cultural venue
The event is part of the program of the Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo, which keep adding literary and cultural events to Islote de Fermina, the restored islet space off the Arrecife seafront. CACT councilor Ángel Vázquez invited the public to “share this event with one of the most recognized names on the national literary scene.”
The presentation is in Spanish, but for anyone on the island in late September the setting alone is worth knowing about: an Atlantic islet venue with the sea as a backdrop, and no ticket required.
