Saborea Lanzarote 2026 Moves to March 2027: New Dates
Saborea Lanzarote 2026, the food and wine festival planned for Nov 28–29 in the Villa de Teguise, is moving to Friday, Mar 19 through Sunday, Mar 21, 2027. The Cabildo de Lanzarote y La Graciosa, the island government, announced the new dates on Oct 5.

Why the Date Changed
The Cabildo attributes the move to the new electoral calendar. Spain’s general election is set for Sunday, Nov 29, the day the festival was due to close. Cabildo president Oswaldo Betancort said in Spanish that an event of this size “requires planning, coordination and every guarantee for the sector and for the thousands of people who take part each year.”
What Saborea Lanzarote Is
Saborea is the island’s main showcase for local produce. It brings together producers, wineries, restaurants and food and wine professionals from Lanzarote and La Graciosa, and it is organized by the Cabildo, SPEL–Turismo Lanzarote and the Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo (CACT). Betancort added that the goal is for the next edition to keep the level it has reached, and for “producers, restaurants, wineries and professionals to prepare it in good time and with a clear calendar.” Nori Machín, the Cabildo’s councilor for economic development, said the new date lets the island keep planning the program with the sector, with Lanzarote produce at the center.
