Lava Live Festival 2026: Juan Luis Guerra, Lineup and Tickets

The Lava Live Festival 2026 turns Arrecife into the live music capital of the Canary Islands across two weekends: June 12-13 and July 24-25. The June weekend opens with Leiva, who launches the final stretch of his Tour Gigante in Lanzarote — recently named Best Tour at Spain’s Academia de la Música awards — followed by Hombres G, Iván Ferreiro and Molotov at the new Estadio Lava Live, an open-air venue for 20,000 people next to the Cabildo headquarters. Juan Luis Guerra headlines the July weekend. After a 2025 edition that drew over 40,000 attendees and generated an economic impact above €14 million, the second edition raises the stakes: more artists, a brand-new venue and a food concept built around local produce.

Friday, June 12: the rock and indie night

The opening night has a personality of its own. Leiva is the main draw: the Arrecife concert kicks off the closing leg of his Tour Gigante, one of the most important tours of his career, with a setlist full of anthems and a large-format stage production. Iván Ferreiro brings his songwriting rooted in Galician indie, and Molotov, the Mexican rap-rock quartet, delivers the rawest set of the entire program. Local talent opens and closes the night with Los Callaos and sets by DJ Tali Arenao.

Saturday, June 13: pop for every generation

The second night shifts gears. Hombres G bring back the pop anthems of an entire generation — and the ones after it, who know them just as well. Ke Personajes, Argentina’s cumbia phenomenon, arrive with one of the most in-demand live shows of the moment. La Cabra Mecánica add their streetwise rumba, La Tom Son round out the bill and DJ Nandy Paredes keeps the energy up between stage changes. A night designed to mix ages and styles without leaving anyone out.

July: Juan Luis Guerra, Nicky Jam and Nathy Peluso

The second weekend arrives on July 24 and 25 with an independent lineup. Friday, July 24 is headlined by Juan Luis Guerra, the merengue and bachata legend with more than four decades on stage and multiple Grammy awards, joined by Ana Mena, Juanma Restrepo, Ventura, Lanzarote’s own Malpeis and Renzzo El Selector. Saturday, July 25 closes the summer with Nicky Jam, Nathy Peluso — rap, jazz and R&B with a stage presence you don’t forget — Barry B, Club Grasa, Rodrigo Fénix and Toni Bob. Tickets for each weekend are sold separately.

Estadio Lava Live: a new venue in the heart of Arrecife

The big news for 2026 is the venue. The Estadio Lava Live, built on the esplanade next to the Cabildo de Lanzarote on Avenida Fred Olsen, replaces last year’s format with a space designed for 20,000 people per night, with better accessibility, circulation and stage visibility. Downtown Arrecife becomes an open-air stadium for four summer nights.

The festival also debuts BOKA, a food concept created with chef Germán Blanco that puts zero-kilometer Lanzarote produce on every plate. This is not the usual festival fast-food stand: it is the island’s kitchen inside the venue.
